Release day is here! It’s been a long wait, both for you and for me, but now all of that is over. At long last, the book is out there, and you can read it! Whether you’re a physical book or Kindle reader, I can’t wait to discover what you think of it. (If you already bought a copy, consider leaving a review on Amazon; it helps so much!)
This book has been a long time coming. Over a year now. I’m still not sure how people will respond and what the reviews will be like. For now, the most personal book to me, the best novel I’ve written yet, is available. What more could I ask for?

I won’t take up your time today with a long retrospective; that’ll come in the next few weeks, as well as some interviews that’ll help to tie a bow on this release. All that matters today is thanking everybody, locally and online, who had a hand in this book and contributed to its success. I wrote about a few of the local businesses and people who were most influential, and you can read about them here.
If you want more info about the book, head over to the Everything, Somewhere tab on this website and you’ll discover plenty of content. Otherwise, order your copy, read through it, and let me know what you think!
This book has meant a lot to me because of the topics it tackles and the setting it maintains. I hope, for you, it can become something equally important, serving as a life-affirming message and an uplifting story about overcoming mental illness and every curveball life throws. There’s so much in store for you; all you have to do is open the novel.
A wonderful read from the first to last sentence. From its beauty to its cruelty and despair, David captures small town, Midwest life perfectly.
