10 Hints for Secret Book (1/3)

Sorry to say, but I’ve been on a prolonged break from Enden: A Fantasy Novel. As you probably know, I unpublished that book so I could rewrite it. But… I got burnt out about 75% of the way through, and I decided to take a break and focus on a different project, just for a little bit. Well, that “little bit” has turned into an entire novel, and now I’m almost finished with that. I plan on finishing the draft, making it as good as possible, and we’ll see after that! I might use this book to try and lure in an agent, or I might just publish it after a few rounds of edit and a cover.

ANYWAYS, that’s not what’s important. What really matters is that I’m giving you a few hints 😉 So, here’s the first one! I’ll be publishing these over 3 posts, so here’s the first one.

1. This isn’t a hint so much as an inspiration, but here ya go. Also, the synopsis of the movie, from la Google.

Bullied at school, neglected at home and incredibly lonely, 12-year-old Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) spends his days plotting revenge on his tormentors and spends his nights spying on other residents of the apartment complex. His sole friend is Abby (Chloë Grace Moretz), a strange girl who comes out only at nighttime. Both outcasts, the two form a strong bond. When Abby’s caretaker disappears amid a series of gruesome murders, Owen begins to suspect that she is hiding a terrible secret.

2. Here is a picture that I’m not going to explain, much give it to you. I’ve used lots of images to keep my mind on task and visual the characters/world/plot, so here is one of those.

3. This hint is a simple one, but probably the most important, believe it or not. And it’s just two words:

The Decay

So there ya go 🙂 3 hints! I’ll have 3 more next post, and then 4 to wrap it up at 10. Good luck deciphering these. Email me, message me, and let me know what you think. Maybe even shoot me some of your theories, because that’s always fun!
